Honouring Our Past. Strengthening Our Present. Inspiring Our Future.
Every civilization is sustained by its identity, every culture by its heritage, and every community by the courage to preserve them.
Bangladesh Sanatan Mahasabha (CSM) was established with a shared commitment to protecting the identity, culture, heritage, and religious traditions of the Indigenous Hindu and Buddhist communities of Bangladesh. Rooted in the rich history of Chattagram (Chittagong Hill Tracts – CHT), we believe that our heritage is not merely a reflection of the past—it is a living legacy that shapes our future.
Our traditions, sacred places, festivals, and values have been cherished and passed down through generations. They represent the resilience, wisdom, and spirit of our ancestors and continue to inspire our communities today. Preserving this legacy is not only our responsibility but also our contribution to the cultural richness and diversity of Bangladesh.
Through peaceful advocacy, cultural initiatives, public engagement, and constructive dialogue, BSM works to protect Indigenous identity and dignity, preserve cultural heritage and traditions, promote human rights and equality, raise global awareness and solidarity, and strengthen the historical, cultural, and civilizational ties shared across South Asia.
We believe that every community deserves the freedom to preserve its identity, practise its faith, celebrate its traditions, and pass its heritage to future generations with dignity and pride. By bringing together community leaders, youth, scholars, well-wishers, and supporters, we seek to build a stronger and more united future founded on mutual respect, harmony, and shared values.
Together, we aspire to strengthen the voice of Indigenous peoples at both the national and international levels, ensuring that identity is respected, heritage is preserved, and every individual can live with dignity, peace, and equal opportunity.
